Boredom is such an irritation. Do you ever find that your friends all want to make plans with you on the same day, and then none of them will bother you the next? And it’s that day when you find that nothing interests you. Because it’s such a problem for me, I thought I’d share a list of things you could do. You know, in case you need any ideas. – Play games on the internet to pass the time. Perhaps a Foxy bingo game would keep your mind occupied, or you could give a brain teasing puzzle like Sudoku a go online. You’d be surprised how many variations of game you can choose from actually. – Look through your blog and cringe at what you used to write when you were younger. You could also look through your Facebook and do the same thing. At the very least you’ll know what not to do in future and laugh at yourself. – Speaking of Facebook you could also search for people you used to know. Former work colleagues, childhood friends, people you haven’t seen for years. Some people don’t have Facebook accounts, but the vast majority do. – Read a book. Whether you like autobiographies, fantasy, sci-fi or romance, there’s a book out there that’s waiting for you to pick it up. You never know, your quest to rid yourself of boredom might lead you to your all time favourite book. – Look through your film collection, and locate one you haven’t watched in a long time. – Tidying your bedroom is quite a good pastime. If you order a different section of your room every time you’re bored, you’ll find your room will slowly but surely end up in some semblance of order again. – Fish out your video camera and make small home videos of random things. Then upload it to YouTube and see if people like it. – Download apps to play with on your phone.
