I’ve started my internship with Time Out KL / Mongoose Publishing today (as in 13 February)! :D I have been pretty busy, and usually after work I’m just really tired. But I feel like blogging today, so here’s my belated internship blog post. :D I think this is going to be one messy blog post.

First day after work. :D I look SUPER DUPER pale and my dark eye circles are horrible too :’(
So, it was my first day! :D I was sooo excited and nervous and scared all at the same time. D: I was worried about being late to work, or getting lost on the way (and with all the jam I’d arrive super late), and about the people there, aka my future colleagues, the drivers in KL, the parking, my attire, and everything else wtf.

Missed the 2nd day, so this was on the 3rd day. :D
Well as it turns out, I should’ve prepared myself more for the KL drivers. Only one part, but that one part was freaking scary! We were barely moving but the cars were forcing themselves on each other. HAHA I mean, forcing people to make way for them wtf. THE CARS WERE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER! There were 4 lanes, but 6 lines of cars. Some motorcycles were stuck and couldn’t move too, and motorcycles don’t usually get stuck in the jam with cars.
But anyway, cheers to myself for driving there and back without getting lost or into an accident. :D WOOHOO!
Oh back to the internship, so far so good. I honesty have no comment (yet). I’m not allowed to talk much about work. :D Anyway, I was introduced to everyone in the office, but wtf I couldn’t even remember most of the faces, just some faces and some names. They all seem nice, but intimidating too.
Oh Ken Tze, for some reason, came to lunch with me on the first day. :D Apparently there’s a food court inside the building.
Everything went well until last Friday (except for Wednesday where the massive jam caused me to miss a dinner with friends :/ ). D: I was supposed to go to Mid Valley and park my car there, but wtf I was too used to taking the usual way to work, I forgot that going to Mid Valley was another way. D:
And when I realized that 30 minutes later, it was already jam everywhere. After finally reaching Mid Valley, I took the KTM and LRT to work. And thus, I was an hour late to work. D: An freaking hour late!!!
BLUR MAX OMG. :’( I mean like, who on earth so blur one wtf. Debbie, look at the trouble I went through just for you. :’)
Anyway, it’s always so jam I can camwhore and online/text/tweet, and eat. D: But with or without jam, I always have my daily karaoke sessions in the car. Music (and preferably songs you can sing along to) is essential to survive the traffic jam. :D

My 6th day and Ken Tze’s 1st day! :D
And today Ken Tze joined me at work today. Woohoo! We carpool, and it’s so nice to have someone with you through the jam. He’s actually quite impatient with the jam, I thought I was impatient, turns out I’m actually quite calm and patient LOL.

Super old and slow iMac, but cute. :D
So… this was what happened on the day we were interviewed by the editors of both Time Out KL and Malaysia, not about the interview itself. Didn’t want to waste the original blog post and pictures. :D
After interview, we walked from the office to KLCC to have some sort of celebratory lunch in Ben’s. We sat at the couch part and it was sooooo comfortable! And so many pillows! :D Oh and they had this card and table topics.

We only managed to read one that asked us if we would like to time travel to the past or future. Something like that.
What we ordered: beef lasagna and soft shell crab spaghetti (I think). :D They were heavenly, especially since I was starving. :P
After a very full satisfying lunch, we went to watch the movie Underworld Awakening wtf. At the ticketing counter, the person asked for our IDs to check if we were 18 and above wtf hahahaha! That was the first time I actually had to show proof to buy 18+ movie ticket. :D
The movie was nice, and I’ve only watched The Rise of Lycans. They had some disgusting scenes though.
At night, I went out with Feeq to have Nando’s.
He was supposed to come fetch me at 8pm and we were supposed to catch the premiere of Chronicle at Cathay Cineplex. But wtf he was so late I figured my stomach is more important than the movie. No regrets, stomach was happy. :D

it’s a bit messy but seems you’re having a great time. It will be less confusing if you start off by saying it’s been a week since you join the company and below are some sharing from last week. I was a little @_@ but after a while I got what you mean hehehe
Hahaha. Some are written from different times, and I was too sleepy and lazy to care or edit too much.
you look so adorable!!!
aww thanks jojo! :D and helloooo! :D
Woah so cool you get to intern at TimeOut. Btw do they pay their editorial interns? Am thinking of applying.
